Description
Technical Specs
This year we made a big commitment with Prior to build some custom shapes to suit the elite alpine rider. We already knew the stock boards were amazing and where very pleased to start with such a great platform to build our dream boards for you.
All of the custom Hardbooter shapes start with Prior’s brand new for 2009 Metal construction. It would be unrealistic to build a board to perform at the level you deserve with out utilizing the properties of metal construction. All of these boards seal the metal laminates into the board providing the most durable construction available to date! Each board also has a new school rear set camber profile giving unmatched stability at speeds in any snow condition. This camber profile allows the tip to feel as though it is separated from the underfoot platform and tail giving it a rock solid feel unmatched by traditional camber profiles. We have also incorporated a blended side cut into all of the models this allow the tip and tail to be weighted independently of each other providing a adjustment in turn shape based on fore and aft weighting, blended side cuts have been the secret of the pros for years allowing the adjustment of turn shape and more precise steering then ever imagined on stock shapes.
These shapes represent our interpretation of the current progression of alpine snow boarding. We have attempted to create shapes that allow any rider the chance to experience carving perfection. We hope you will enjoy these shapes.
Features
B squared
This is Billy's free ride dream board, as soon as he started shaping the boards in this years line up he gave this board his personal touch. The nose profile allows for a long running length in a shorter board to reduce swing weight while spinning, and jibing the park, and of course a tail kicked for getting your fakie on. And because of the blended side cut the board feels very stable backwards giving it a slow and smooth turn in with the ability to tight the turn up with just a bit of rear foot pressure. Billy also widened up the waist a bit to allow everyone a chance to enjoy this free ride monster. It just maybe the ultimate one board quiver with the edge hold of a PGS board and the versatility of a corduroy killer with a bit of freestyle sole. If your insane enough to want to ride like Billy this is all the help we can give you.
Pretty Good Stick
We really wanted to give the PGS athlete a platform to duel with. This board is designed to do battle with the heavy hitters on the world cup, make no mistake this is not a board based on world cup technology: this is a world cup board. If you always wanted the best platform to lace up any PGS course then this is your stick.
All of these boards come drilled and inserted for the Hangl-sprang plate. And of course work with the Vist plate.
Silly Good
Although the days of one run Super G glory or failure are gone the Super G turn lives on in this current resurrection of a speed machine. Weather you are trying to make the best out of your local smooth wide open speed run or charging the steepest cord this board will give you the opportunity to go as fast as your self confidence allows. This is the biggest fastest metal board we could dream up before it became too large to be practical at the largest resorts in America. This board is also available with Hang–sprang inserts. ($1200)
Phil Berube
Years ago we had the chance to take Phil Berube's race shape out for a spin. This is a shape Phil and Chris worked very hard on while developing the prior metal line up. After just a few runs we just had to share this shape with the public. We didn't design this board but its ride is so incredible we just had to have some made!
