The UPZ, Virus limited edition boot is now available. The alpine snowboard boots are handmade in Austria and include two pair of tongues, both included. The black tongue has a Material Flex Index of 130 and the gray tongue is stiffer with an MFI of 150. The tongues are easily removable via two hex bolts. Flex characteristics are between the 2 models. See "more pictures". This boots has extraordinary support with it’s 5!! Aluminum alloy race-buckles which are super light, extra strong and are micro adjustable. Of course, this boot comes stock with a burley power strap. Adjustable forward AND backward flex enables smooth board movements and better grip and board control on toeside and heelside turns respectively. This boot is the only snowboard hardboot that currently features this mechanism stock. The tool free 4 position forward lean can also be disengaged enabling “walk mode”. |
